Ali Stoffels

RECREATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Ali’s love for gymnastics began at Milton Springers where she competed as a provincial level athlete. During high school she began coaching in the recreational classes and her passion evolved from doing gymnastics to teaching it!  She was the club's Summer Camp Director from 2005-2007 and developed the very first Springer Games, our very own mini-olympics, that continues to be an integral part of our summer camp today!

Ali holds degrees from Lakehead University in Education and Outdoor Recreation with a Specialization in Leadership.  After several years of working with youth at various summer camps, outdoor centers and volunteer-leadership learning programs, she returned to Milton Springers in 2015 as our Recreation Program Director.  Ali spends most of her time supporting her staff team out on the floor and behind the scenes to deliver great programs to kids in our community. You'll often find her working on schedules, crafting for the next theme week or facilitating our pre-Coach-in-Training Leadership Course for teens.

In addition to her work at Springers, Ali is the founder of Recreational Gymnastics Professionals - an organization that aims to help connect the recreational gymnastics community - both online and in person - providing opportunities to share and learn from each other via conferences, staff training events and workshops around the province and country.
