Functional Movement Screening:  Parents may request a Functional Movement Screening Assessment that consists of seven functional tests which evaluate whole body mobility, flexibility, strength, motor control and functional patterning.  This assessment can provide crucial physiological information to assist in preventing injury.  Based on results an exercise program will be recommended that Springers will incorporate into each athlete’s individual conditioning program.  Parents will receive a copy of the assessment and accompanying exercises.   Cost for assessment & accompanying report: $125

Treatments will be provided by Dr. Kandice Kissoondath and will take place on the sidelines of the gym floor to allow treatment to coincide with practice.

Over the past two years, Kandice has volunteered at competitions hosted by Milton Springers Gymnastics Club to provide chiropractic treatment on the sidelines, as well as, being the first-aid responder for the competition. Kandice holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She’s passionate about treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on whole body function and wellness. Some diagnostic and therapeutic techniques provided by Dr. Kandice include: Muscle Release Techniques, Graston Therapy, Kineseotaping, Neurofunctional  Acupuncture, Exercise rehabilitation, Diversified Chiropractic techniques, Orthopaedic testing, Selective Functional Movement Screen (SFMA), and NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT).
